Job summary

Connection is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform audits on production processes in the configuration lab and to support quality systems. You will analyze issues, document findings, and drive corrective actions using quality tools to improve product and process quality.

The role requires an Associate Degree or equivalent, knowledge of hardware/software configurations, and strong data analytics.

Qualifications

• Degree: Associate Degree or equivalent; required to work with quality systems.
• Familiar with hardware and software configurations and their impact on quality.
• MS Office knowledge is beneficial (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Strong attention to detail for quality adherence and accuracy.
• Problem solving with ability to research and collaborate with multiple people.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and how to apply them.
• Data management and analytics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality audits on production product and processes in the configuration lab.
• Analyses, troubleshoots, and documents problems; identifies root causes and drives corrective actions.
• Uses quality tools and audits improvements for effectiveness.
• Conducts data analysis and test validations using SPC and risk priority numbers.
• Audits adherence to standard work and workflow processes; documents risks and errors.
• Manages the non-conforming database for analysis and reporting.
• Assists operations with COPQ tracking.
• Collaborates with technicians and leads to drive quality and continuous improvement.
• Participates in requirement/design reviews and Quality Assurance strategy meetings.
• Tracks CI projects—stats, control analyses/PDCA.
• Submits proposals for improvements and participates in CI activities.
• Assists Process Improvement Engineering.
