Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Auburn, WA is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician II for the day shift (4:00 AM - 2:30 PM). Base pay is $23.50 to $25.50 per hour, with Friday and Saturday work possible depending on production needs.

The role tests and inspects products at various production stages, audits CTQ processes, and measures machinery output. It also handles data entry, QC data analysis, and supports ongoing line training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or technical diploma preferred.
• Certification in quality control is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in quality control/assurance in manufacturing.
• Experience with SPC and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and QMS.
• Proficiency with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Select products or materials for testing and assess quality characteristics.
• Record test data, prepare graphs/charts, interpret drawings and note non-conformities.
• Enter data into PC; write problem descriptions and complete quarantine forms.
• Set up and perform destructive and non-destructive tests.
