Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to uphold stringent QA processes and perform product testing in a first-shift environment. The role emphasizes precise measurement with tape, calipers, and micrometers, plus tablet-based data collection and NCR reporting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and at least one year of manufacturing experience in Windows environments. on-site role with strong teamwork and safety compliance.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write, use Outlook and Excel on Tablet PC.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience in Windows Manufacturing.
• Ability to read a tape measure, calipers, micrometers; knowledge about measurement and test equipment,
• Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Mansioni

• Maintain quality assurance processes and test product samples.
• Report issues that deviate from standards and generate NCR.
• Conduct CTQ and CFA audits using Safety Culture on Tablet PC.
• Train Operators to comply with No Defect Forward (NDF).
• Use band saw to cut pieces for impact and weld strength testing.
• Perform all quality testing per AAMA specifications.
• Perform 100% EOLI on vinyl lines, rotating lines every 2 weeks.
• Assist Leadership to determine root causes using the 5 Whys process.
• Maintain cleanliness and sweep work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
