Job summary

WL Plastics LLC seeks a Quality Assurance Technician in Rapid City, SD to support the QA program. You will troubleshoot quality through inspections and tests, report to the QA Manager, and ensure conformance with the QPM and customer specs.

Responsibilities include recording results, maintaining certifications, and assisting with equipment. Expect flexible hours and potential weekend work; safety is emphasized throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work safely in a production environment; physically capable of job tasks.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to reside/work in the U.S.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Adherence to ISO 9001 procedures.
• Basic computer skills: Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot quality through visual inspections and testing methods.
• Report to QA Manager at the facility.
• Perform product/compliance tests per QPM and standards.
• Evaluate results and determine conformance.
• Maintain records of tests, production, and conformance.
• Prepare and forward quality equipment certifications.
• Maintain laboratory and equipment certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by QA Manager.
• Flexible hours and weekend work may be required.
