Job summary

WL Plastics LLC seeks a Quality Assurance Technician in Rapid City, SD to support the QA program. You will troubleshoot quality through inspections and tests, report to the QA Manager, and ensure conformance with the QPM and customer specs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work safely in a production environment; physically capable of job tasks.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to reside/work in the U.S.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Adherence to ISO 9001 procedures.
• Basic computer skills: Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot quality through visual inspections and testing methods.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

• TheQualityAssuranceTechnicianwilltroubleshootqualitythroughdifferenttypesofvisual inspections and testing methods using precision instruments and equipment.
• The Quality Assurance Technician reports to the QA Manager at the manufacturing facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to work in varying temperatures and inclement weather during their shifts, excluding breaks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• This position combines hands-on technical analysis and administrative tasks.
• Time will be spent among office, production floor, and lab areas. A large majority of time may be spent working on the production floor. This is not a laboratory position.
• Work closely with production supervisors, production personnel, plant manager, and other personnel as required.

TRAINING:

• The company provides training in safety. Lab equipment operation, quality procedures, quality tool operation, and quality requirements.
