Job summary

You will document inspection results, operate testing equipment, and maintain quality-system records while supporting cross-functional teams. This role requires strong communication and a willingness to work 12-hour shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent computer capabilities, including MS Office.
• Working knowledge of measurement equipment.
• Self-motivated to learn and perform job tasks to meet or exceed customer and company expectations.
• Demonstrates the capacity to work at an efficient rate to meet production goals and standards.
• Effectively communicates with others both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and documents results for all work-in-process components for compliance with customer-specified requirements.
• Operates testing and measuring equipment used in Quality and Manufacturing.
• Maintains documentation to comply with Customer and Company quality standards.
• Works with QA Technician II to determine material status and release for use if acceptable.
• Assists in startup of new molds.
• Supports QA Supervisor in their absence.
• Adheres to plant safety rules and identifies safety hazards.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Reports problems or concerns to the direct Supervisor.
• Maintains good working relations with all employees.
