Job summary

Alltrista Plastics LLC in Reedsville, PA is seeking a Technician, Quality Assurance to assure product quality through prevention-based initiatives, audits, and documentation. This role involves inspecting and recording results for in-process components and communicating nonconformances to shift supervision.

You'll work with the QA team to understand test equipment, maintain compliant records, and assist with mold start-up and experiments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Knowledge of measurement equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and documents results for all WIP components and reports nonconformances to shift supervision.
• Understands testing and measuring equipment used in QA and Manufacturing.
• Maintains documentation to comply with customer and company quality standards.
• Supports QA Technician II to determine material status and release or nonconforming disposition.
• Assists in mold start-up with processing and provides samples, protocols, and documentation.
• Performs QA Technician II duties when needed and supports QA Supervisor in their absence.
• Supports the QMS by adhering to system requirements and safety rules.
• Keeps work area clean, neat, and orderly; reports problems to supervisor.
