Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure food safety and compliance with the Quality Monitoring Scheme. The role involves daily checks and documentation across production lines in our Illinois facility.

You will perform HACCP and preventive controls checks, address deviations, and help maintain cleanliness and organization in a refrigerated environment. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, with English required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 months of QA Technician experience required.
• Ability to spot defects on fast-moving production lines with good attention to detail.
• English language skills; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on production lines hourly for accuracy and compliance.
• Escalate discrepancies in the QMS to Supervisor or Quality Manager.
• Ensure products meet legal and customer requirements per Bluebook.
• Maintain 5-S and keep work areas clean.
• Label, store, and organize samples and retentions.
• Follow Hold Procedures for non-conforming materials.
• Perform HACCP and Preventive Controls checks as needed.
• Assist in test runs and new product trials.
• Perform other audits or inspections as required.
