Job summary

Vallourec Star in Houston, TX is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the Gauge Lab. You will calibrate gauges, inspect hand tools, and adjust gauge intervals in line with API specifications, ensuring traceability records linked to NIST standards.

Your day-to-day includes maintaining and calibrating gauges, performing receiving inspections of critical parts, documenting calibrations and repairs, and keeping the gauge room orderly.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in care and maintenance of measuring and test equipment.
• Proficiency in API Thread Gauging.
