Job summary

Vallourec Star in Houston, TX is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the Gauge Lab. You will calibrate gauges, inspect hand tools, and adjust gauge intervals in line with API specifications, ensuring traceability records linked to NIST standards.

Your day-to-day includes maintaining and calibrating gauges, performing receiving inspections of critical parts, documenting calibrations and repairs, and keeping the gauge room orderly.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of API specifications for tubular goods.
• Experience or training in care and maintenance of measuring and test equipment.
• Proficiency in API Thread Gauging.
• Strong communication and ability to maintain gauge certifications and repairs records.
• Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive with a teamwork mindset.
