Job summary

Vallourec - North America is seeking a Gauge Lab Technician to calibrate gauges, inspect hand tools, and adjust gauge intervals in accordance with API specifications. This role ensures traceability records are created and maintained in line with NIST standards.

You will maintain gauges, manage drift inventory, conduct receiving inspections of critical parts, audit production lines, and document calibrations and repairs. Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and timely reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of API specifications related to tubular goods.
• Experience or training in the care and maintenance of measuring and test equipment.
• Proficiency in API Thread Gauging.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain historical records of gauge certifications and repairs.
• Directable, teamwork-oriented, adaptable, accountable, reliable, and proactive.
• Safety awareness, ability to give and receive constructive feedback, pride in performance, commitment to continuous improvement and quality, effective communication, positive response to change, and high attention to detail.
