JBS USA seeks a Quality Assurance Technician for the first shift. The role supports on-site quality checks on products and raw materials, ensuring compliance with QC standards and accurate dating on runs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, some experience in food manufacturing QC, and strong English communication. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; duties include data collection and routine testing on the plant floor.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• Experience in food manufacturing quality control preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Good math skills.
• Must be well-organized with good attention to detail.
• Display strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others.
• Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts quality assurance testing on products and raw materials on the plant floor.
• Utilizes and/or adapts inspection equipment to meet quality control standards; suggest improvements.
• Investigates causes of faulty work and advises production supervisors on corrective measures.
• Ensures sell-by and production dates are correct on product runs.
• Analyzes data to determine actions within standard practices.
• May assume other duties as assigned.
