Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the 1st shift. The role starts at $20.50 per hour and includes comprehensive benefits. You will perform QA testing on products and raw materials on the plant floor and ensure accuracy of production dates and batch information.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and experience in food manufacturing quality control. Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• Experience in food manufacturing quality control preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Good math skills.
• Must be well-organized with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conducts quality assurance testing on products and raw materials on the plant floor.
• Utilizes inspection equipment to meet quality control standards and suggests improvements to procedures.
• Investigates cause of faulty work and advises production supervisors on corrective measures.
• Ensures that sell-by and production dates are correct on product runs.
• Measures and tests product and tabulates data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
• May assume other duties as assigned.
