Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician for the York, PA Farmbrook plant on the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). The role ensures bottle quality per drawings and specifications, participates in training, and supports QA processes across shifts.

You will monitor finished product quality, assist in root-cause investigations, and uphold GMP and safety policies. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in manufacturing with QA exposure, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal/external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while remaining positive.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others as needed.
• Proficiency with computer usage and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Understand and enforce safety, health, GMP and company policies.
• Communicate quality information to supervisors and other shifts.
• Setup/maintain product files in Infinity QS for data input.
• Develop and analyze SPC data and product specifications.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
• Create inspection criteria and maintain inspection procedures.
• Coordinate quality training and support across departments.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations and corrective actions.
• Conduct tests during product changeovers and maintain QA reporting systems.
• Carry out gage R&R studies and process/product audits.
• Retest bottle measurements to verify conformance and report results.
