National Beef is hiring a 2nd Shift Quality Assurance Technician in Moultrie, GA to ensure product quality and compliance with customer specifications. This on-site role works with QA and Production management to uphold safety and quality across the facility.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic computer/iPad know-how, and strong English communication skills; beef/pork knowledge is a plus. This safety-sensitive position offers competitive benefits and stability.

Responsibilities

• Assess product to ensure compliance with customer specifications.

• Collaborate with QA Manager and Production Management on analysis projects.
• Ensure wholesome, food-safe product for customers.
• Monitor food safety and employee safety throughout the facility.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by QA Management.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ability to assess product to ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Ability to re-instruct line employees in regards to customer specifications in a positive professional manner
• Interaction with QA Manager and Production Management for analysis projects
• Ensure that National Beef provides a wholesome, food safe product to our customer
• Help monitor both food safety and employee safety throughout the facility
• Assist in other duties as assigned by QA Management of National Beef
• Monitor plant personnel and facility on a daily basis to help ensure compliance to all FSIS and Food Safety Regulations and Programs
• QA will be responsible for notifying appropriate plant Management personnel of any deficiencies found and to take appropriate action as needed
• Perform daily System Audits on products
• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position.This is an on-site position.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Quality Assurance Technician position should possess the following:

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge on computers and iPad systems is a plus
• Product knowledge of beef or pork
• Good time management skills
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
