Job summary

National Beef Company of Moultrie, Georgia, is hiring a motivated individual for the 2nd Shift Quality Assurance Technician. This safety-sensitive, on-site position focuses on ensuring product quality and compliance with customer specifications, with involvement in safety programs and daily audits.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer and iPad skills, and strong communication. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship is required.

Qualifications

• Product knowledge of beef or pork.

Responsibilities

• Assess product to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Re-instruct line employees on customer specifications professionally.
• Collaborate with QA Manager and Production for analysis projects.
• Ensure National Beef provides wholesome, food-safe products.
• Monitor food safety and employee safety throughout the facility.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by QA Management.
• Notify plant management of deficiencies and take appropriate action.
• Perform daily system audits on products.

Responsibilities

• Ability to assess product to ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Ability to re-instruct line employees in regards to customer specifications in a positive professional manner
• Interaction with QA Manager and Production Management for analysis projects
• Ensure that National Beef provides a wholesome, food safe product to our customer
• Help monitor both food safety and employee safety throughout the facility
• Assist in other duties as assigned by QA Management of National Beef
• Monitor plant personnel and facility on a daily basis to help ensure compliance to all FSIS and Food Safety Regulations and Programs
• QA will be responsible for notifying appropriate plant Management personnel of any deficiencies found and to take appropriate action as needed
• Perform daily System Audits on products
• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge on computers and iPad systems is a plus
• Product knowledge of beef or pork
• Good time management skills
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
