Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the 2nd shift, starting at $20.50 per hour. The role focuses on QA testing on the plant floor and involves instrumenting inspections and ensuring correct dates on products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food manufacturing quality control preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts quality assurance testing on products and raw materials on the plant floor.
• Investigate and determine cause of faulty work and advise production supervisors on corrective measures.
• Ensures sell-by and production dates are correct on product runs.
• Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding problems to determine action within standard practices.
• Measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning quality and reliability.
• May assume other duties as assigned.
