Aerotek in Neenah, WI is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform detailed visual inspections of finished products prior to shipment, ensuring they meet specifications and quality standards.
You will read blueprints, verify conformity, document issues, and communicate findings to engineers and customers, contributing to a clean, organized, and safety‑minded production environment with an 8‑hour schedule.
The Quality Assurance Technician performs detailed visual inspections on completed products before shipment to ensure they meet all specifications and quality standards. This role serves as the final checkpoint in the production process, verifying every component against blueprints and engineering drawings while collaborating closely with engineers, customers, and production leadership.
Perform thorough visual inspections on completed products before they are shipped to customers.
Review every aspect and component of finished products to ensure they meet all quality and specification requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to validate product conformity.
Use structured checklists to verify that each product is completed correctly and consistently.
Communicate with engineers, customers, and production leadership to confirm product quality and resolve any concerns.
Document and report quality issues by sending clear and detailed emails to Quality Engineers and customers when problems are identified.
Attend customer meetings when required to explain quality concerns and inspection findings.
Provide constructive feedback and elevate issues when something appears incorrect or out of specification.
Support other areas of the plant and assist the wider quality team when workload demands shift.
Maintain organized records of inspections and follow established quality procedures and guidelines.
Strong proficiency in computer usage for documentation, communication, and inspection-related tasks.
High attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies in products.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings accurately.
Willingness to receive feedback well and apply it constructively.
Confidence to speak up, ask questions, and raise concerns when something appears incorrect.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple products, tasks, and documentation.
Flexibility to switch between different products and tasks as priorities change.
Patience and persistence when performing repetitive or detailed inspection work.
Experience in quality assurance, quality control, or inspection roles.
Comfort working cross-functionally with engineers, production teams, and customers.
Strong written communication skills for drafting clear emails and reports.
Ability to participate in customer meetings and explain technical quality concerns in an understandable way.

This is a Permanent position based out of Neenah, WI.
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $45760.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Full benefits, 401 K, HSA, and volunteer time available. 3 weeks PTO - 120 hours.
