$17.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Technician is personally responsible for completing all Quality Manager assigned tasks pertaining to the DRS quality system and all product related quality tasks, to obtain optimum performance of operations and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Use measurement tools to ensure that finished products meet specifications
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and findings
• Report quality anomalies to supervision
• Capable of training and directing inspectors
• Ability to read prints
• Ability to run a DCC CMM program to inspect parts
• Calibrate and verify test equipment
• Ability to process and verify incoming material to customer requirements
• Understand supplier base
• Perform start-upinspections utilizing the first and last piece process
• Perform in-process inspections routinely of injection molding, assembly,and any secondary processes
• Perform First Article Inspections and DIPS as directed
• Understand and use customer portals as directed
• Obtain customer-specific requirements and documentation as directed
• Train others on quality standards and procedures
• Participate in audits and investigations
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure quality across all business operations
• Use of 6S principles
