Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs in Coraopolis, PA is hiring full-time team members to prepare products for airline, e-commerce and retail customers. Compensation is $18 per hour with overtime as needed and weekly pay. Reliable transportation is required; no public transit.

This role operates in a 24/7 environment with physical duties including lifting up to 30 lbs and standing most of the shift. Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to read/write English and basic math, and adherence to food hygiene

• Work around moving parts and wet floors.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 70 lbs.
• Flexible to work in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify coolers and freezer temps.
• Obtain Chef Table samples according to schedules.
• Conduct portion control weight compliance to specifications.
• Daily random checks of Coolers for dating and labeling of product (FIFO).
• Monitor racks for proper storage of allergens and glass.

Pay: $18/hour

Shift: 6am-2:30pm

JOBS SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read, write, speak, comprehend English and have strong basic math skills

• Work around moving parts & wet floors
• Ability to work in different temperatures (including a 38-degree cooler) throughout the shift
• Ability to walk, stoop, bend, reach , and stand for 8 hours a day as required
• Ability to use knives, cutting board, mobile shelving, carts, meat slicer, and related industrial kitchen equipment
• Ability to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
• Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment
• Ability to push/pull up to 70 lbs. with use of rolling carts
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. as required
• Excellent attendance/Punctuality record, and performance
• Must have interpersonal, organizational skills and be adaptable to frequent changes
