Job summary

Premium Waters, Inc. in Quincy, IL is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support our production team and uphold our mission of quality and safety in bottled water.

You will perform QA tests, data analysis, and ensure GMP/HACCP compliance across the manufacturing process while maintaining plant sanitation and safety standards. This full-time role requires flexibility to work off-shifts as needed and contribute to continuous improvement across 12 company locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years work-related experience or training preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills; computer experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work off-shift as needed.
• Follows GMP policies and HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily and quarterly micros.
• Performs wet chemical analysis of product.
• Performs RO checks, distiller checks, ozone checks, and other equipment checks.
• Operates production equipment during operator breaks as needed.
• Completes non-conformance reports for finished and raw materials.

What you’ll be working on

QA Tech tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of the products produced. Responsible for plant sanitation.

• Performs daily and quarterly micros.
• Performs wet chemical analysis of product.
• Performs RO checks, distiller checks, ozone checks, and other various equipment checks.
• Must be able to work off-shift as needed.
• Completes non-conformance reports for finished and raw materials.
• Makes sure that Plant personnel are adhering to GMP policies.
• Follows standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations, including HACCP and quality plant personnel.
• Operates production equipment during operator breaks/lunches and other times as needed.
• Performs other related duties as they arise and/or as requested.
