Job summary

Premium Waters, Inc. is seeking a Supervisory, Production - Nights to lead a high speed line in Chippewa Falls, WI. You will coach a 6–8 person team, train staff, and focus on safety, quality, and cost efficiency on the production floor.

The role requires GMP/FDA familiarity, hands‑on equipment setup and troubleshooting, and a 2‑2‑3 schedule with 5pm–5:10am shifts. Beverage manufacturing leadership and MS Office proficiency are preferred.

Supervisor, Production - Nights (High Speed Line)

Full Time – Chippewa Falls, WI, US

Salary: $70,000 to $75,000 Annually

Your part in our story:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing shift operations, training all production and injection molding staff, and overseeing day‑to‑day production activities. You will maintain a safe work group focused on quality, customer service, people development, and producing products at the lowest possible cost. Knowledge of equipment setup and troubleshooting is a plus. This role provides a well‑rounded base of experience in both operations and leadership.

  • Directly supervise a team of 6‑8 personnel while leading broader cross‑functional initiatives for a group of 8‑15 on your shift to achieve world‑class results through a leadership style that promotes putting people first, operating honestly, ethically, and advancing a strong team‑oriented environment.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment through a feedback‑driven workplace where every employee feels heard, valued, and empowered.
  • Drive safety compliance for all employees by setting and enforcing safety guidelines (a company safety champion) and providing hands‑on safety training for all direct reports.
  • Lead, motivate, supervise, and delegate personnel in the production area of responsibility, requiring a minimum of 85% of time on the production floor, developing and supporting employees, as well as hands‑on setup, training, and troubleshooting of all the packaging and production equipment.
  • Acquire in‑depth knowledge of automated packaging and manufacturing equipment through hands‑on operation, training, and troubleshooting of molding equipment, fillers, labelers, cappers, case packers, and robotic palletizers.
  • Ensure production employees are trained in quality and machinery operations, as well as all operating procedures relevant to their roles.
  • Have or acquire knowledge of GMPs, sanitation standards, and SQF & FDA requirements while ensuring all production staff follow key steps in quality and food safety processes.
  • Manage payroll and staffing for the entire production staff on the applicable shift by providing a production roster to ensure adequate personnel and PTO coverage to meet the demands of the production schedule and utilizing the production resources in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Ensure on‑time delivery of our products to all our customers, as dictated by the production schedule.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the entire production area while ensuring proper maintenance and care of all machines, tools, and other auxiliary equipment.
  • Communicate and resolve issues with all production department stakeholders through transparent, professional communication with all parties and department heads regarding any issues, watchouts, and/or changes.
  • Validate that all manufacturing staff complete and log the required food safety and packaging quality checks in the Premium Waters Food Safety and Quality Assurance Software.
  • Complete or verify completion of all paperwork on time and accurately.
  • Conduct daily shift change meetings & attend all required meetings.
  • Work 5pm‑5:10am on a 2‑2‑3 shift schedule:
    • Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday & Sunday
    • Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday & Sunday

About you – preferred requirements for this role
  • High school diploma or GED is required, with higher education in Leadership studies and/or Business preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of packaging or manufacturing experience is required.
  • Packaging and/or manufacturing experience with a beverage, food, or liquid consumer products manufacturer is preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience is required, with leadership experience in a manufacturing setting and/or supervisory experience with direct reports preferred.
  • Proficient organizational & computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel are required.
  • Prior knowledge of GMPs, sanitation standards, and FDA requirements is helpful.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time – 12‑hour shifts.
  • Ability to work a 2‑2‑3 schedule, with occasional flexibility to conduct interviews and attend in‑person or virtual meetings outside that normal shift schedule.
  • Basic math skills are needed.
  • Strong interpersonal & training skills.
  • Strong communication skills – oral and written.
  • Safety – Must commit to safety as a mandatory team effort.
