Job summary

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to work overtime and varied temperatures in a USDA-inspected facility. English communication and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in varied temperatures and around moving equipment.
• Must meet physical requirements and climb stairs several times daily.
• Must work extended hours Mon-Sat with overtime; start times vary by production needs.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Must perform basic math with a calculator.
• Must complete training: SQF, GMP, HACCP, SOPs, Food Defense, Allergen.
• Work history in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Communicate over a radio.
• Read a digital thermometer accurately.
• Write legibly.
• Prepare and process daily paperwork.
• Perform visual line and finished product inspections for conformity to specifications.
• Hold and/or release product not meeting specifications.
• Read and understand specifications and complete written documentation.
• Notify supervisors of product issues or stop the line for serious defects.
