Job summary

King's Command Foods in Versailles, OH, is hiring a Quality Assurance Tech I for the first shift to help ensure the safety and quality of meat products delivered across America. You will read thermometers, document daily paperwork, perform inspections, and halt production if serious defects are found.

Must communicate clearly, follow GMPs, SQF, HACCP, SOPs, and allergen controls. Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or GED, are at least 18, can work extended hours and varied temperatures, and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures (warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or slippery).
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
• Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with overtime.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must communicate effectively in English (speak, read, write).
• Must perform basic math with a calculator.
• Must complete training: SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, Food Defense, Allergen.
• Work history in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Communicate over a radio as needed.
• Accurately read a digital thermometer.
• Write legibly and complete daily paperwork.
• Perform visual line and finished product inspections.
• Hold and/or release product, materials, or equipment not meeting specs.
• Read and understand specifications and complete written documentation.
• Notify supervisors or other personnel of product issues or stop the production line if serious defects are present.
