Job summary

TAS Energy in Houston seeks a Quality Assurance Systems Engineer to support maintenance, implementation, and continual improvement of the QMS. You will partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen audit readiness, corrective action, and risk management, while ensuring compliance with TAS procedures, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.

The role involves developing and delivering training, maintaining controlled documents, and driving process improvements across TAS locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field with five years of QA/QMS experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 audits and corrective actions.
• Strong writing, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure audit readiness.
• Coordinate internal, supplier, regulatory, and customer audits with evidence collection and follow-up.
• Track NCRs, CARs, SCARs through containment, root cause, corrective action, and verification.
• Facilitate structured root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, 8D, Pareto, DMAIC).
• Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, forms, templates, and records.
• Administer document and change control activities to ensure approved revisions are communicated and used.
• Assess quality impacts of process changes with process owners; support risk, training, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain FMEAs/PFMEAs, risk assessments, control plans, and quality planning tools.
• Analyze quality data and audit trends to identify systemic risks and improvement opportunities.
