Qualifications

• Four year college/University education in technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Five years related experience, including supervisor.
• Geometric tolerancing, ISO9000 auditor training; Microsoft Office proficiency; EMI/HEMP technology and measurement; environmental testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Directs the efforts of the Inspection Department, including supervision of TPLis, technical training and associated personnel actions.
• Assigns team goals and conducts Tier meetings to communicate issues and assign actions.
• Reviews and approves time and attendance for accuracy.
• Ensure department work areas are safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant through training, implementation of EHS policies, and continuous improvement.
• Represents Gichner In-process inspection team during audits, inspection, and as part of acceptance by customer and with government personnel.
• Oversee the inspection/in-process test of product and completion of inspection data.
• Reviews records for completeness.
• Responsible for CAPA initiation and follow up within responsible area.
