Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking a lead for the Inspection Department to direct in-process inspections and supervise training and personnel actions. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and data integrity with audits by customers and government personnel.

The position requires a technical four-year degree and 5+ years of supervisory experience, plus knowledge of ISO9000 auditing, geometric tolerancing, EMI/HEMP testing, and environmental testing methods.

Qualifications

• Four-year college/university education in technical field or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years related experience, including supervisor.
• Geometric tolerancing, ISO9000 auditor training; Microsoft Office proficiency, electrical theory knowledge; EMI/HEMP technology and measurement, environmental testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Assigns team goals and conducts Tier meetings to communicate issues and assign actions.
• Reviews and approves time and attendance for accuracy.
• Ensure department work areas are safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant through training, implementation of EHS policies, and continuous improvement.
• Represents Gichner In-process inspection team during audits, inspection, and as part of acceptance by customer and with government personnel.
• Oversee the inspection/in-process test of product and completion of inspection data. Reviews records for completeness.
• Responsible for CAPA initiation and follow up within responsible area.

Essential Job Functions
