Job summary

Naprotek LLC in San Jose, CA seeks an experienced Quality Supervisor to oversee thequality assurance department across Receiving, In-Process, and Final areas. The role includes inspecting and auditing incoming and outgoing products to ensure customer requirements are met, such as appearance, fit, form, and function, and ensuring on-time delivery.

You will train staff, develop QA policies, investigate complaints, coordinate with suppliers, and perform 100% final inspection prior to shipping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• IPC-610 trained with manufacturing experience; soldering and component recognition.
• Strong reading, writing and mathematical skills; ability to write correspondence.
• Ability to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Capable of accurately charting inspection and test data.
• Knowledge of IPC-610, ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO13485 processes preferred.
• 3 years of quality inspection experience in high technology companies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect production to verify quality standards are upheld.
• Train and supervise the quality assurance staff.
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to maintain quality of incoming materials.
• Perform first article/piece inspection at the start of each production run and verify requirements.
• Perform roving sample inspection and quality audits in designated areas per documentation package.
• Perform 100% final inspection prior to shipping to customers; document all discrepancies.
