Job summary

Xylem seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor on 2nd shift to lead the QA team, drive quality improvements, and ensure compliance with customer specifications and ISO 9001. The role collaborates with production, engineering, and supply chain to manage risk and sustain product integrity.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing QA, data analysis, and structured problem solving, with leadership experience in a unionized environment preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience with at least two years in people leadership.
• Experience in a manufacturing quality environment and ISO 9001 awareness.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, RCA).
• Experience with quality inspection equipment and quality-related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team with daily direction and accountability.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA processes, inspection methods, and standards.
• Conduct audits and data analysis to identify defects and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions using root cause analysis and structured problem solving.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and support launches.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and maintain accurate quality documentation.
