Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor for the first shift in the Silver Spring, MD area. The role leads QA personnel in the laboratory and on the production floor to ensure products meet quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.

You will coach your team, review laboratory results, support audits, and partner with plant departments to drive process improvements and maintain consistent product quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or comparable college/technical education in biology, chemistry, food science, health sciences, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in QA/manufacturing.
• Manufacturing experience and knowledge of food industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA staff in laboratory and production areas to ensure quality, safety, and performance.
• Coach and develop team members through training and feedback.
• Collaborate with Production and other departments to resolve quality concerns and support food safety practices.
