Job Description

The Supervisor supports a specific quality assurance program and quality control activities to ensure site compliance with the DHL Quality Management System, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role involves direct supervision of hourly associates supporting quality activities.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of the overall quality system or specific procedures, including management review, CAPA management, internal quality audits, quality self-assessments, change control, document control, and SOPs/work instructions.
  • Provides support for key regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Tracks, monitors, and reports quality assurance metrics for the site.
  • Monitors training and development of site associates to ensure compliance with processes and regulations.
  • Acts as a customer point of contact for QA-related issues and initiatives.
  • Partners with QA management to develop, distribute, and maintain management reports.
  • Ensures daily compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains customer service and business standards daily.
  • Plans, conducts, and acts upon inspection processes such as Gemba walks and Standards Confirmation.
  • Supervises, coaches, and trains hourly associates supporting quality assurance and control activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
  • 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA USA, Health Canada, etc.).
  • Experience in manufacturing, food, life sciences, or 3PL industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Certification related to quality control (e.g., RAC, Six Sigma).
  • Working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software; fundamental knowledge of statistics.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
