Position Summary

Crescent Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that Production / Operational processes meet / comply with Safety, Quality, Regulatory & Customer standards in a Regulated cGMP Environment.

The Quality Supervisor will work with Cross Functional Leaders and staff to monitor the Crescent Quality Management System (QMS), ensure routine quality inspections, and oversee the manufacture of top-quality, conforming products. The role involves measuring, monitoring, and reporting Quality KPIs and trends, supporting investigations for outages and nonconformances, and driving corrective / preventative actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Safety: Ensure a safe work environment, participate in Safety Committee activities, and promote a Safety-First Culture.
2. Quality: Support QMS audits, monitor Quality KPIs, participate in Project Start Up teams, manage specifications, facilitate shift meetings, manage staff productivity, support Lean and 5S activities, review batch records, and support CAPA investigations.
3. Productivity: Manage staffing to meet demand, review processes for quality and efficiency, support continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to policies.
4. People: Participate in talent development, train staff, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a valued work environment.
5. Customer Value & Financials: Ensure processes deliver quality products and improve organizational efficiency.
6. Cultural Competencies: Emphasize doing it right, safe, and well, with leadership in change management, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
7. Work Environment & Physical Demands: Adaptability in a fast-paced environment, physical ability to perform required tasks.
8. Management & Organizational Skills: Problem-solving, data analysis, independent work, and priority management.
9. Systems Usage: Proficiency with Nulogy, Qcloud, Shop Floor, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Ideagen Qualtrax, UKG, and EDI systems.
10. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years Quality experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, effective communication skills.
11. Preferred Qualifications: cGMP experience, HACCP, ERP/MRP, team/project leadership, Lean Manufacturing, regulatory knowledge.
12. Success Metrics: Support cGMP & Customer operations, deliver quality products, develop a self-sufficient team.
13. Legal & Age Requirements: Must be at least 18, able to perform essential functions, authorized to work in the US.
