Quality Assurance Specialist Sr - QA Testing

As a Quality Assurance Specialist within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

Ideal Candidates Will Have The Following Skills/Experience

• Exposure to SQL, Python, and Angular

Job Description

• Lead reviews and tests of software systems and products to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with software developers to resolve issues of non-compliance through system modifications, reconfiguration, or workarounds. Develop test scenarios for unit, process, function, integration, and acceptance testing.
• Plan and estimate quality assurance support requirements for new products, functions, and components. Conduct audits and reviews.
• Monitor adherence to quality standards during development, implementation, and maintenance of software products. Evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance processes and tools.
• Track quality assurance metrics such as defect density and open defect counts. Oversee testing and inspection of products for compliance.

Qualifications

Candidates should demonstrate relevant knowledge, skills, and experience, including:

• Skills in Analytical Thinking, Controls Testing, Quality Assurance, Software Testing, Test Case Development, Usability Testing
• Competencies in Accuracy, Attention to Detail, Influencing, Process Management, Software Development Life Cycle, Software Quality Assurance and Testing, Technical Documentation

Work experience typically requires a university/college degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Certifications are preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $112,700 annually, depending on location, experience, and skills. Role is incentive eligible.
