Job summary

Radial Solutions Incorporated seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the U.S. Army Ranger School at Ft. Benning, GA, ensuring the Quality Management System and AS 9100D certification are maintained.

The role assists the QA Manager with audits, document control, and corrective/preventive actions under the Ft. Moore Logistics contract. Qualified candidates have 2+ years in aviation-related quality control/assurance, knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100D, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in aviation-related Quality Control or Quality Assurance, with at least 1 year in the specific role.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems-Requirements, SAE-AS 9100 Aerospace Requirements, or other DoD approved SPI.
• Preferred: ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor, AS 9100D Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site compliance with the QMS and AS 9100D standard.
• Conduct internal program audits as assigned.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality issues, corrective actions, and improvement recommendations.
• Maintain document control and respond to external Corrective Action Requests.

RSi is looking to fill a Quality Assurance Specialistposition to support our U.S.Army customer on the Ft. Moore Aviation and Maintenance Logistics contract for the Army Ranger School at Ft. Benning, GA. This position will provide assistance to the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and the AS 9100D Certification.

Summary of duties include but are not limited to:

• Works to ensure site remains compliant with the QMS
• Ensure the QMS remains in compliance with the AS 9100D standard
• Conductinginternalprogram audits,as assigned
• Preparingdetailedreportsonqualityissues,correctiveactions,andimprovementrecommendationstorelevant stakeholders
• Responsiblefor Document Control
• Uses root cause analysis techniquestoimplementpreventativemeasures

Required Minimum Education/Experience/Certifications:

• At least 2 years of aviation related Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience, of which at least 1 year shall be commensurate with the position assigned
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems-Requirements, SAE-AS 9100 Quality Management Systems-Aerospace Requirements, or other DoD approved quality system single process initiative (SPI)

Preferred Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/IT Skills/Certifications:

• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification or Lead Auditor Certification
• AS 9100D Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification
• Knowledge of AR 95-20 (DCMA-INST 8210-D)

Environmentally controlled, heated and cooled shop area subject to machinery noise

Physical Environment/Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Ability to lift up to twenty pounds on an occasional basis
• Sit or stand for extended periods of time
• May require walking, bending, climbing stairs, and navigating shop/machine work areas
