Job summary

Webcor Construction, L.P. is seeking an Assistant Quality Manager to help design and implement quality systems across construction projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specs.

You will collaborate with project teams, conduct audits, and prepare detailed reports while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with regulators to ensure compliance and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management or engineering; 5+ years in quality management or inspector roles.
• ICC master special inspector certification or equivalent for public/private projects.
• CQE, ICC NAVFAC CQM or ICC inspector certifications preferred.
• Experience with ISO, HCAI, NAVFAC/USACE CQM knowledge.
• Experience on both public and private sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality management systems to meet industry standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to set quality objectives and oversee QA activities.
• Conduct regular audits to identify improvements and ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare detailed quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with project management and engineering to support quality initiatives.
• Provide training and support on QA processes; mentor junior staff.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulators to ensure project success.
• Participate in audits by regulators and clients; ensure legal and contractual compliance.
• Lead team and Owner meetings; provide status updates of the quality program.
