You will analyze data to identify trends, report KPIs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while acting as a training preceptor for QA programs and materials development.

Qualifications

  • 4 years with HS diploma or 0 years with BA, BS, or other advanced degree experience in tissue banking, medical devices, research, biologics, or related healthcare field.
  • Solid knowledge of quality systems, FDA regulations, and AATB standards.
  • Experience documenting and tracking donor tissue workflows and SAP entries.

Responsibilities

  • Performs donor chart reviews and determines tissue acceptability in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Executes SAP entries for tissue usage and movement.
  • Acts as QA resource for donation partners and internal stakeholders; initiates nonconformances and investigations.
  • Uses data analytics to report KPIs, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
  • Leads training and develops QA materials; supports continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Performs all aspects of the donor chart review process, including obtaining donor information, conducting technical reviews to determine tissue acceptability, and determining disposition of clinical, non-clinical, and research donors in compliance with FDA regulations, AATB Standards, LifeNet Health SOPs, and research requirements. Ensures documentation accuracy and completeness, determines readiness for progression through review steps, and performs database documentation for biospecimens used in research and product development. Executes SAP entries for tissue usage and movement, reviews recovery partner documents for compliance, and acts as a key QA resource for donation partners and internal stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration. Initiates and reviews nonconformances, conducts investigations, and manages quality holds. Utilizes data analytics to report KPIs, identify trends, and recommend improvements, while serving as a preceptor for training, developing programs and materials, and monitoring trainee progress. Participates in and leads continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and performance.

Pay Transparency Statement

The salary range displayed represents the national base salary range for this position and is provided in good faith to support pay transparency. For positions located in designated higher-cost labor markets, a geographic pay adjustment may apply above the posted range for eligible positions according to LifeNet Health's current policy. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Total compensation may also include bonuses, benefits, and other rewards that are not reflected in the posted salary range.
