Qualifications

  • 2 years with HS diploma or 0 years with AS or other advanced degree experience with patient medical records and medical terminology.
  • Data entry experience within a healthcare environment or similar highly regulated industry.

Responsibilities

  • Compiles and prepares donor chart documents, including recovery documentation, laboratory analysis, medical records, intake/output and blood bank records, and medical examiner reports, ensuring readiness for progression through review steps using defined protocols.
  • Reviews documentation for accuracy and completeness, provides timely data verification in donor charts and software systems, and initiates nonconformances as needed.
  • Coordinates the daily flow of donor chart documents, requests and tracks required information from internal and external stakeholders, and fosters a team-oriented environment through effective communication.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Compiles and prepares donor chart documents, including recovery documentation, laboratory analysis, medical records, intake/output and blood bank records, and medical examiner reports, ensuring readiness for progression through review steps using defined protocols. Reviews documentation for accuracy and completeness, provides timely data verification in donor charts and software systems, and initiates nonconformances as needed. Coordinates the daily flow of donor chart documents, requests and tracks required information from internal and external stakeholders, and fosters a team-oriented environment through effective communication. Applies LEAN principles to identify and implement process improvements and participates in special projects and initiatives to strengthen donor chart review functions.

Pay Transparency Statement

The salary range displayed represents the national base salary range for this position and is provided in good faith to support pay transparency. For positions located in designated higher-cost labor markets, a geographic pay adjustment may apply above the posted range for eligible positions according to LifeNet Health's current policy. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. Total compensation may also include bonuses, benefits, and other rewards that are not reflected in the posted salary range.
