Job summary

CAE Simuflite is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support training center operations across the Americas. You will help implement and maintain a robust QA program, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with aviation regulatory, contractual, and customer requirements.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, lead local QA auditor activities, and prepare regular QA reports and management reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in quality assurance or compliance auditing in aviation.
• Functional English communication (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and prioritization.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple locations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, training, technical teams).
• Interact professionally with customers and regulators.
• Proficiency with standard IT tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA and compliance systems across training centers in the Americas.
• Lead QA audits at CAE Dallas and other locations; promote audit discipline.
• Establish and oversee local QA auditor teams as needed.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document site QA audits to meet civil aviation authority regs, contractual, and customer requirements.
• Maintain audit records, non-conformances, and CAPA.
• Ensure follow-up actions within timelines; escalate non-compliance when needed.
• Identify and coordinate improvements to QA/compliance monitoring system.
• Verify policies align with regulatory requirements and mitigate risks.
• Provide feedback on training and business processes (Q-Pulse/Enlighten/TCOM).
• Produce regular QA reports by center, jurisdiction, and unit; conduct quarterly QMS reviews.
• Deliver or coordinate QA training across locations; oversee local auditors.
• Perform secondary duties (Export/ITAR) as needed.
• Operate with supervisory responsibility for local QA auditors (no direct reports).
• Exercise sound business judgment while honoring budgets.

Join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist professional supporting training center operation. In this role, you will help implement and maintain a robust quality management system, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to regulatory, contractual, and customer requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and local auditors to promote a consistent, high-quality compliance culture across multiple locations.

• Implement and monitor the Quality Assurance (QA) and compliance monitoring system across training centers in South, Central, and North America.


• Actively participate in QA audits across CAE Dallas training centers and other training locations throughout the Americas.


• Establish and oversee local QA auditor teams, as needed.


• Plan, coordinate, execute, and document site Quality/Compliance audits to ensure adherence to:

• Ensure QA reporting aligns with global QA policies, objectives, and best practices.


• Deliver or coordinate Quality Management System (QMS)/Compliance Monitoring training across training locations.


• Train, designate, and oversee the work of local quality auditors across the Americas.


• Perform secondary duties when required (e.g., Export/ITAR control reviews).


• Operate with functional supervisory responsibility for local QA auditors (no direct reports).


• Exercise sound business judgment while adhering to budget considerations (no direct budget ownership).

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or compliance auditing in the aviation industry.


• Basic knowledge of aviation regulatory principles.


• Functional proficiency in written and spoken English.


• Ability to work independently with sound judgment and prioritization skills.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks across locations simultaneously.


• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, training, technical teams).


• Ability to interact professionally with external stakeholders, including customers and regulators.


• Proficiency in standard IT tools and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pilot training, aircraft operations, or simulator training center environments.


• Working knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., Q-Pulse, Enlighten, TCOM).


• Demonstrated ability to support and promote a quality and compliance culture.
