Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or college graduate; BSc degree in relevant field preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role with at least 3 years relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Thorough knowledge of QA methodologies and standards.
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
• Strong attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
• Familiar with Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with QA standards and guidelines.
• Identify and set QA standards based on customer expectations and industry requirements.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with QA standards.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
• Review implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
• Collaborate with operations teams to identify areas for quality improvement.
• Prepare and present reports and metrics related to QA and compliance activities.

Job description

Under supervision of the Quality Manager, performs a variety of both routine and non-routine duties in accordance with specific instructions and established work procedures. Reviews processes, identify areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance quality. Some duties involve work of a confidential nature which requires knowledge of the company’s customers and pricing policies.The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
