Job summary

Sonepar, a leading electrical distributor, is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to join our QA and Inventory Control team in Mesa, AZ. This role focuses on ensuring inventory accuracy by analyzing customer transactions and resolving issues such as revenue leaks.

You will review RGAs, perform cycle counts, assist in month-end close, and collaborate with warehouse teams to identify root causes of inventory errors.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, especially with numbers and reporting.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to distinguish differences between part numbers/descriptions.
• Ability to solve problems and communicate resolutions promptly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Electrical industry product knowledge is preferred.
• Experience using Epicor Eclipse and Solar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze mis‑shipped, lost in transit, and item issues; communicate results and corrective actions.
• Review and process customer RGAs daily; report errors as needed.
• Perform warehousing duties including discrepancy analysis, cycle counting, and inventory slotting.
• Assist in identifying errors and root causes of inventory/warehouse issues.
• Collaborate with QA and warehouse teams to investigate/inventory errors.
• Record, track, and report UETs with QA Supervisor.
• Assist in month-end close and annual physical inventory preparation.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

The Quality Assurance Representative is an integral participant within the company’s Quality Assurance and Inventory Control team. This position has a significant impact related to the accuracy of the company’s inventory by analyzing customer transactions and processes to resolve issues such as revenue leaks.

What you'll do:

• Identify, investigate, analyze, and process all mis‑shipped, lost in transit, and item issues. Communicate results and corrective actions in a timely and consistent manner.
• Review and process customer RGAs on a daily basis, report errors as needed.
• Perform a variety of warehousing duties including discrepancy analysis and resolution, cycle counting, adjustment verification, and inventory slotting.
• Assist in identifying errors and root causes of inventory and warehouse errors.
• Work with the Quality Assurance team and various warehouse teams to investigate and resolve inventory errors.
• Assist Quality Assurance Supervisor to record, track, and report UETs.
• Assist in closing out queues for month‑end close.
• Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of annual physical inventory.
• Other duties, as assigned.

What you'll bring:

• Ability to distinguish minor, but significant differences between complex material part numbers/descriptions.
• Ability to solve problems and communicate resolutions in a timely and consistent manner.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Electrical industry product knowledge is preferred.
• Experience using Epicor Eclipse and Solar is preferred.
