Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or 2-3 years related experience.
• Mathematical skills to perform unit conversions and multi-step calculations.
• Color vision adequate to determine conformance with quality specs.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures and instructions.
• Clear communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and accurately complete paperwork.
• Ability to write up observations into simple reports.
• Ability to wear PPE (lab coat, chemical-resistant gloves, protective footwear, eye protection).
• GMP facility – remove or cover jewelry or piercings as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production runs and perform first piece audits.
• Receive and audit incoming, in-house, and process materials.
• Use basic lab equipment to measure properties of products.
• Enter quality information into the computer system.
• Complete production- and quality-related paperwork.
• Oversee mixing operations for certain products.
• Ensure production areas comply with quality standards.
• Check and reconcile label quantities.
• Prepare samples for outside lab testing and product retention.
• Verify scales and conduct 5S housekeeping audits.
