Maximus is looking for a remote Quality Assurance (QA) Director to lead enterprise-wide quality initiatives, drive strategic quality management, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance and performance excellence across multiple projects and programs.
You will define quality management activities, build an integrated QA program, oversee ISO 9001 certifications, monitor metrics, and provide leadership in client-facing performance content and risk mitigation.
Maximus is looking for a remote Quality Assurance (QA) Director to lead enterprise-wide quality initiatives. This senior leader will drive strategic quality management, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance and performance excellence across multiple projects and programs.
Define, communicate, and provide oversight for all quality management activities, including quality monitoring systems, quality reviews, analysis, reporting, corrective actions, readiness reviews, project reviews, related outcomes and associated follow-up actions, including controls, monitoring, and proven practices.
Develop contractual and quality assurance oversight systems and goals and implements specific objectives to ensure oversight systems are adequate and goals are realized, including but not limited to evaluating the effectiveness of contract required programs, policies, systems, and processes.
Develop strategies and solutions for quality functions within business development opportunities including innovative, cost-effective approaches for quality management meeting contractual and governmental requirements.
Define strategies and process to implement a comprehensive quality management discipline across multiple projects.
Build a team responsible for quality management, including both direct reports and staff in a matrix reporting relationship. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of staff training and training plans.
Continually monitor metrics and performance across multiple projects to improve performance as needed, including evaluating the accuracy of fiscal administration processes.
Provide guidance and oversight to projects developing quality plans and methodologies to maintain robust quality management systems meeting all necessary compliance standards.
Direct all compliance certifications and re-certifications, including ISO 9001 quality management standards. Monitor the effectiveness of subcontractors and compliance with all contract requirements.
Serve as member of a collaborative management team, and conduct regular management review meetings.
Direct the design, development and implementation of reports to continuously monitor and measure all aspects of quality performance for multiple functional areas and projects, including evaluating document control efficiency and accuracy.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience considered in lieu of degree with 4 years of experience.
Current Maximus CCO experience is highly preferred.
This position is fully remote and will require a home office.
Maximus employees who have completed the required minimum time in role according to the Internal Transfer and Promotion Eligibility Policy are eligible to apply for a posted position, and any exceptions are handled on a case-by-case basis by that specific project.
