Job summary

Peraton is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Process Lead to oversee and enhance our DHS QA processes. The role will serve as the DHS QA Officer, ensuring compliance, quality, and timeliness across programs. Reston, VA is preferred, with telework options available.

Qualifications

6 years PERSEC (Personnel Security) and/or BI experience with BS/BA.
US Citizenship required.
Favorable T5 (Tier 5) investigation clearance or equivalent.
Strong project and process management background.
Experience using performance metrics to drive operations.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and implement QA programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
Lead QA operations, evaluate processes, identify gaps, and drive improvements for operational excellence.
Administer and monitor the Quality Control Program ensuring adherence to protocols.
Conduct internal audits and implement corrective/preventive actions.
Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, compliance) to foster quality culture.
Utilize metrics to monitor quality, identify trends, and drive improvements.
Oversee department-wide QA training and development.
