Timken Company is hiring a Quality Assurance Operator in New Philadelphia, Ohio. The role runs on a day shift (Mon-Thu 5:00 AM–3:00 PM with overtime Fridays and Saturdays as needed) and pays $19.50 per hour, starting based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Grinding/machining education required.

Responsibilities

• Visually and dimensionally inspect product for conformance to specifications.
• Set up and adjust gauges for checking product using masters and hand tools.
• Verify machine set-ups per engineering specifications.
• Ensure accuracy of product identification/marking.
• Ensure accuracy of production transactions.
• Conduct government audits, source inspections, and audits.
• Ensure accuracy of all required documentation including Blue Books and all in-process documentation.
• Adhere to all safety standards.
