Job summary

A technology solutions provider is looking for an experienced Testing Specialist to work on application testing for mobile platforms including iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. Responsibilities

• Interpret written business requirements, functional designs and technical specification documents and use these to write test plans
• Develop Acceptance Criteria and test cases for stories and verify the product against acceptance criteria
• Develop automation scripts for stories during development and execute them to reduce cycle time and improve quality
• Extensive experience of application testing on latest mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Windows Phone)
• Outline the different networks—2G/3G/4G/LTE/Edge/Wi‑Fi—in which the application can be tested and validate it
• Understand the different dimensions of the devices and be able to test the base device functionality for the application
• Good hands‑on testing on emulators/simulators if needed
• Perform functional, laboratory, performance, interrupt, memory leakage, usability, installation, certification, security and location testing
• Hands‑on experience with automated tools like Appium, Robotium, SeeTest would be an added advantage
