QA Manager II

Job Description

Manage and coordinate all quality assurance activities across various scopes within a single site, assessing risk and complexity. Confirm quality support requests, communicate policies, and proactively liaise with customers regarding quality assurance. Develop and oversee site quality resources, support regional QA and regulatory compliance initiatives, and ensure validated processes for hardware, equipment, and software systems, as applicable.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the quality system, including management review, CAPA, audits, self-assessments, change control, document control, and SOPs.
  • Manage regulatory licenses, permits, and registrations.
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., cGxP), assess performance, and report to management.
  • Ensure systems and equipment validation and change control processes are maintained.
  • Lead regulatory, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Monitor and develop site associates' training to ensure compliance.
  • Manage Quality Technicians and oversee hiring, training, and development of QA staff.
  • Track and report quality metrics and develop management reports.
  • Act as the primary QA contact for customer issues and initiatives.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and activities.
  • Ensure daily customer service and business standards are met.
  • Conduct inspections and standards confirmations regularly.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 1+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Less than 5 years of experience in a regulated environment (e.g., FDA, Health Canada) or ISO 9001 certification.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in a complex/matrix organization.
