Job summary

Nidec Corporation seeks a Manager of Quality Assurance to lead and optimize our QA systems, ensuring products, processes, and documentation meet stringent standards. You will guide design and project engineers and collaborate across sites to uphold quality governance.

You will drive supplier quality improvements, implement PPAP, and coordinate CAPA activities to pursue zero defects while aligning with regulatory requirements and corporate quality policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required
• 7+ years in quality assurance, quality systems, or regulated environments
• PPAP knowledge and quality tools experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of QA systems and procedures
• Ensure document control, change management, and quality governance practices
• Maintain alignment with internal quality policies and external regulatory standards
• Provide quality engineering direction to design and project engineers across locations
• Support supplier quality to qualify electronic contract manufacturers and suppliers
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions and quality metrics
