Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation in the United States is seeking a Manager of Quality to lead quality management across defined scope, developing tactical and operational plans aligned with enterprise quality strategy. You will oversee quality engineers, inspectors, or analysts and advise leadership on risks, compliance, and improvement opportunities.

You will partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve process capability, manage audits, track KPIs, and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, compliance, and continuous improvement tools.
• Experience leading audits, investigations, and corrective action processes.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results through others.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of quality plans, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to quality management systems, standards, and customer requirements.
• Maintain effective document control, audits, and governance practices.
• Identify quality risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support internal and external audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
• Oversee quality assurance and control activities across products and processes.
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of quality issues and nonconformances.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve process capability and product performance.
