Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the EO/IR Business Unit’s quality program. The role focuses on ensuring mission‑critical electro‑optical systems meet stringent quality standards in a complex aerospace and defense setting.

You will drive QA strategy, oversee audits, and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to improve processes and metrics while advancing ISO9001 and AS9100 readiness. Up to 25% travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of Quality Management/Engineering experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems.
• Experience in design, production, product evaluation and reliability, inspection/test, and/or contract review as they apply to product or process quality.
• Knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action tools (Ishikawa, FMEA, FMECA, 5Why, etc).
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills.
• Ability to travel to customers or other CACI sites up to 25% as needed.
• Must Be A US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality staff and mentor quality engineers, analysts, inspectors, and operators.
• Develop strategy to transition from engineering prototype to full-rate production.
• Provide QA support to orders, design, supply chain, production and post-delivery processes.
• Define QA/inspection criteria for product lines and assemblies.
• Oversee inspection reports and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Align and optimize QA processes across multiple sites for efficiency.
• Lead defects/scrap/rework reduction initiatives with design, supply chain, and manufacturing.
• Develop and manage Quality KPIs/metrics for each site.
