Job summary

ARMRA is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance to oversee QA activities, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and lead cross-functional quality initiatives. The role requires a strong background in the dietary supplement/CPG sector and the ability to manage dynamic quality processes.

You will drive quality strategy, supplier quality, investigations, and continuous improvement while collaborating with R&D, production, and supply chain to uphold ARMRA’s high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Master’s degree or ASQ/CQM certifications are a plus.
• 5+ years in QA, preferably in dietary supplement/food industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy to ensure product integrity and compliance.
• Monitor and improve QC processes for materials, in-process inspections, and finished products.
• Ensure FDA, GMP, and industry standards compliance across products.
• Oversee supplier quality and manage quality agreements as needed.
• Maintain thorough QA documentation, investigations, specifications, and testing results.
• Identify areas for quality improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Address customer complaints related to product quality and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and supply chain to maintain quality through product lifecycle.
• Assist in internal and external audits and readiness for third-party inspections.

The Role:

We are looking for a Manager of Quality Assurance to oversee all aspects of quality assurance within the company, ensuring that ARMRA meets the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented leader with a strong background in quality assurance within the Dietary Supplement/CPG industry and the ability to manage quality processes in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Quality Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive quality assurance strategy to ensure product integrity, safety, and compliance with all relevant regulations
• Process Management: Monitor and improve quality control processes of the contract manufacturers, including raw material testing, in-process inspections, and finished product evaluations
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with FDA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other relevant industry standards
• Supplier Quality Management: Oversee the quality of raw materials and finished products from suppliers, and address any quality agreements, as needed
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all quality assurance activities, including investigations, product specifications and testing results
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for quality improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and reduce defects
• Customer Feedback: Monitor and address customer complaints related to product quality, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, product development, production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is maintained throughout the product lifecycle
• Audit Management: Assist in preparing for and managing internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance and readiness for third-party inspections

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the dietary supplement or food industry
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, regulatory requirements, and GMP guidelines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in quality management systems and tools
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
